The inner element gets enlarged and becomes outer element while the outer element gets reduced in size and moves inside in alternate steps, while the set of elements moves one side ACW in each step.
The elements attached to the verticle of the triangle shift to the middle of the facing sides in one step. In the next step they gel attached to the verticles on their ACW side.
In each step the first and second elements from CW side moves one side ACW while the third one moves half a side CW. A new element is added on the ACW side which moves half a side ACW in subsequent steps.

The arrow rrotates by 90o CW, 180o 135o CW and 180o, while the pin rotates by 135o CW and 180o alternately. Both the elements shift diagonally in alternately steps. The square moves one step CW in each step.
