Following are the criteria for the selection of the President of a private limited company:
I. The candidate must hold at least 5% of company's shares.
II. The candidate must have served the company for at least three years.
III. The candidate should not be less than 40 years of age.
IV. The candidate must have been in the Board of Directors of the company for the last five years.
V The candidate should be holding a post not less than that of DGM.
If a candidate fulfils all these criteria, he may be selected as the President of the company. However, if a candidate fulfils all other crtieria except
(a) IV above, but has an MBA degree, his case may be referred to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of shareholders.
